Muscle, bone & joint palpation

Injury management & prevention

In depth joint anatomy & assessment

Treatments for soft tissue repair

Advanced sports massage techniques ​(trigger points, connective tissue work, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques)

Range of movement & flexibility

Postural assessment

Functional tests

Physical examination tests
What to Bring:
-
2 medium/large towels and 1 hand towel
-
Lunch (although there is a Sainsburys about 2 minutes walk from the clinic)

Sportswear (and shorts)
-
Ladies - a bra that unclips at the back is easier than a sports bra (for removal in class!)

A4 Folder, dividers, plastic wallets, highlighters

Pre-Requisites:

Students must be 18 years or older (no maximum age!)

Level 3 Sports Massage OR Level 3 Body Massage PLUS Bridging Course (with Pressure Point)

A good level of English to complete the written coursework

Motivation and time to practice and study outside of the course hours
