To help Clare achieve her passion of the best training school in the country, she has a team of specialists in their field to run up-to-date, educational, fun and evidence-based courses.

Director, Tutor & Level 5 Sports Massage Therapist
Clare Riddell
Clare has taught in further education for many years and now teaches a range of sports massage courses using enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of humour to make learning fun and enjoyable. She achieved finalist for Tutor of the Year by the FHT, educational provider of the year by VTCT, written several articles for the International Therapist magazine, presented at the Sports Therapy Expo and is now writing her first book on Massage Therapy.

Complementary Therapy Tutor & IQA
Jeni Broughton
Jeni has years of experience in holistics and complementary therapies, teaching a wide range of courses from reflexology, pregnancy massage & MLD to hopi ear candles. Jeni also produces her own product range and creates blends (some award winning) for many companies and individual massage therapists. Jeni’s passion is sports massage and aromatherapy and she works with a wide variety of clients including professional footballers to those looking for relaxation & wellbeing. She is the lead IQA for L3 to L5 sports massage at Pressure Point.

BodyMaster Method Tutor
John Gibbons
John is a qualified Osteopath, international lecturer and successful author. He developed the Bodymaster Method®, a treatment method that is as fast and effective on office workers as it is on top athletes. John’s motivating passion is to teach as many Physios, Sports Therapists and Doctors as possible, running training courses and seminars worldwide. Today, his books and articles are published internationally, he lectures at Universities, gets invited to speak globally and train thousands of physical therapists.

RockPods & RockTape Tutor
Daniel Lawrence
Daniel gained his BSc in Physiotherapy from Leeds University in 2006. He has a clinical background in sport and general healthcare settings, both within the national health service and private sector. He lectures at Truro College and joined Rocktape as their Education Director in 2012. Daniel has also catalogued much of his own learning and teaching on his YouTube channel ‘The Physio Channel’ which continues to serve as a great resource for therapists around the world.

Acupuncture Tutor
Bernard Nolan
Bernie has been working in Oriental Medicine since 1980 and as well as teaching NHS physiotherapists he has worked with premier football clubs. Bernie studied in Japan and Korea for 5 years, majoring in Acupuncture and has appeared on many top TV shows as the guest Health Expert including GMTV, Trisha Goddard, ITV Granada and Sky. In recent years Bernie has been working from his Sports Injury Clinic in Mallorca. He has treated both professional and amateur cyclists and also works with many elite training camps.

Strength & Conditioning Tutor
Tom Heeley
Tom founded Optimum in 2021 after nearly 10 years working with British Ski, Snowboard, World Superbikes and Motocross athletes. Tom has completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine, opening doors to work with the FA and Derby County FC. He now runs his clinic and lectures on the Sports Therapy degree course at Derby University. He has a keen interest in all areas of the human body and enjoys the challenge of finding the source of the problem.

Sports Injury Tutor
Julie Hayton
Julie embarked on an 11-year career with Leicester Tigers which progressed from massage therapist to Head of Medical Services before she left the club to drive and develop Function Jigsaw in Leicester. Julie’s vast experience in professional sport has allowed her and her team to deliver Injury management services to large scale endurance events, corporate events, sporting events, stage and TV and work place environments Nationwide and in Europe.

Level 5 Sports Massage Therapist
Devinder (Jolly) Matharu
Jolly is a fully qualified and insured sports massage therapist and member of the FHT. He trained under Pressure Point’s director Clare Riddell in Level 3, 4 and 5 and is highly recommended. He is enthusiastic and committed and will go over and above to ensure his clients receive the best treatment and aftercare advice. Jolly is an active, dedicated and trustworthy person in all aspects of his life including work, family and his training in martial arts.
