MET stretching on the hamstring

Join respected educator and bodywork specialist Clare Riddell for this practical and engaging 1-Day Muscle Energy Technique (MET) Course, designed to give manual therapists a deeper understanding of this safe, effective method for restoring joint mobility, relieving muscle tension, and improving postural balance. MET is a highly effective technique that uses the client’s own muscle contractions to lengthen tight muscles, improve joint function, and correct musculoskeletal imbalances. In this hands-on course, Clare breaks down the principles of MET into clear, accessible steps—perfect for massage therapists, sports therapists, osteopaths-in-training, and other manual therapy professionals. You’ll learn how to assess key joints and muscles, apply MET to common areas such as the pelvis, spine, shoulders, and neck, and integrate it confidently into your existing treatment approach. With Clare’s supportive and clear teaching style, you’ll gain both the understanding and practical experience to use MET safely and effectively from day one. This CPD-accredited course is ideal for those looking to expand their therapeutic toolkit and offer clients long-lasting, targeted results without heavy pressure or force. Leave the day feeling confident, refreshed, and ready to bring a powerful new technique into your practice.
