Neuro-Spinal Assessment

Educational, interactive, diagnostic, practical
Join respected clinician and educator Clare Riddell for this in-depth 1-day Neurospinal Assessment Course, designed to give therapists a clear, practical understanding of how to assess the spine and nervous system with confidence and clinical relevance. The neurospinal system plays a vital role in movement, coordination, pain perception, and muscular function. Understanding its role in client symptoms allows you to assess more thoroughly and treat more effectively. This CPD-accredited course provides a structured approach to assessing spinal integrity, neurological function, and identifying red flags. You’ll learn how to perform a comprehensive assessment, including spinal mobility testing, reflex checks, dermatome and myotome screening, neural tension tests, and postural observations. Clare’s approachable, evidence-informed teaching style makes complex neurological concepts accessible and easy to apply in real clinical settings. Ideal for sports therapists, massage therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and rehab professionals, this course will elevate your assessment skills and help you spot patterns that may otherwise go unnoticed. Held in Nottingham, it attracts practitioners from across the UK who want to build confidence in neurospinal evaluation and provide safer, more effective client care.
