Stretch & Strengthen for Rehabilitation
Therapeutic, Dynamic, Hands-On, Restorative
Join experienced movement specialist and therapist Tom Heeley for this practical 2-day Stretch and Strengthen for Rehabilitation Course, designed to equip therapists with the tools to improve recovery, movement quality, and long-term function in clients of all levels. This highly practical and engaging course focuses on blending mobility and strength-based techniques to support effective rehabilitation. You’ll explore how to assess postural imbalances, movement restrictions, and muscular weakness—and use targeted stretching and strengthening protocols to correct dysfunction and restore balance. Over two days, Tom will guide you through a series of evidence-informed techniques suitable for a range of clients, from those recovering from injury to active individuals looking to prevent reoccurrence. You’ll gain skills in dynamic and static stretching, mobility drills, isometric and resistance exercises, and how to programme them for different stages of recovery. Ideal for sports massage therapists, personal trainers, physiotherapists, and rehab professionals, the course bridges manual therapy with active recovery, helping clients build lasting resilience. Held in Nottingham, this hands-on course is open to professionals across the UK looking to expand their rehabilitation approach and deliver better client outcomes through movement.
