Stretch & Strengthen for Rehabilitation
This 1 or 2-day course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely incorporate foam rolling, self-myofascial release, strengthening exercises, functional stability and rehabilitation with your clients. Theory will cover anatomy of each body part with injuries and imbalances that will benefit from the application of stretching and strengthening. Day 1: Lower body
Day 2: Upper body

Rehabilitation and Functional Exercise
This one-day practical workshop will give you the skills to enhance your aftercare advice and be prescriptive with rehabilitation and corrective exercises through stretches, strength, proprioception and movement patterns. This is not just essential for the injured athlete, but also for the general population in returning to a pre-symptomatic state of functional movement. You will understand a structured approach to helping clients achieve full recovery

Postural Assessment
Poor posture is a contributing factor to injury, muscle imbalance, poor circulation and reduced range of movement. This ‘hands on’ course will increase your knowledge of the body, alignment and assessment methods to enable you to provide clients with postural assessments and corrective exercises. A great add-on to any holistic or sports massage treatment.

Neuro-Spinal Assessment
This is a great course for any manual therapist to give you a better understanding of what structures may be responsible for presenting pain. Many clients will suffer from pain/tingling in their extremities, but is this caused by medical conditions, trauma, muscle tension, nerve damage or disc herniations? A series of tests can be used to differentiate between symptoms and investigate the problem. You will feel more confident treating a range of clients with neurological symptoms.

Gait Analysis
If you see a lot of runners in your clinic, this course is perfect for you to establish if injury, tension or weakness is actually caused by poor running form or foot biomechanics. You will learn a series of muscle tests and hip firing patterns to investigate problem areas. You will use a treadmill to assess barefoot walking technique and running form, analysing the relationship between lower and upper body alignment and then be able to offer advice on running technique with stretching and strengthening of specific muscles.

Muscle Energy Techniques
This is a great course for any manual therapist, personal trainers, sports coaches or even athletes themselves. You will learn specific stretching methods to lengthen/reduce discomfort in tight or dysfunctional muscles which can cause imbalance, injury, or limited range of movement. If you want to add to your existing skills, learn new techniques which can be incorporated during a massage treatment and improve your aftercare advice to clients with take home self-stretches, this course will suit you.

Sports Massage Refresher
If you would you like to add to your tool kit of massage skills and learn some deep tissue, remedial and sports massage techniques, this course is perfect for you. Learn how to use your hands, fist, thumbs, forearms and elbows on all parts of the body. If you studied sports massage a number of years ago and want to refresh and build your confidence again, this 3-day workshop will give you some great techniques and increase your knowledge of muscles and bones of the body. If you are qualified in L3 Body/Swedish, this course will enable you to be able to enrol on the VTCT Level 4 Sports Massage course without having to study the full Level 3 programme (with Pressure Point)

Taping for Sport
This is a practical course for any sports therapist, first aider or coach that would like to know how to help prevent and manage injuries. There are no assessments or coursework – just practical work on taping and strapping of specific joints of the body. Particularly useful if you are going to work with sports teams i.e. rugby/football

Acupuncture Techniques for Sports Injury
A practical course open to physiotherapists, sports & massage therapists. It will take you through the basics of acupuncture theory and practice, discussing both oriental and western aspects, contra indications and hygiene. By the end of the course you will be proficient in practising acupuncture techniques as an addition to your own therapy.

Sports Injuries
“Are you treating the cause or the effect? What is the bigger picture? Its fascia–nating!”
A sports injury can be caused by an accident, impact, poor training, improper equipment, lack of conditioning, or insufficient warm-up and stretching. Muscle sprains and strains, tears of the ligaments and tendons, dislocated joints, fractured bones and head injuries are common. Utilising interactive feedback, case studies and discussion this workshop will give you a better understanding of recognising, treating and intervention strategies

RockPods
Myofascial Cupping has been around since the early 19th century. Although the cups and techniques have changed over time, the basic premise of cups providing suction to decompress the underlying tissue remains the same. RockPods can really step-up your manual therapy by providing a unique treatment experience for your patients that gets deeper into the tissue than your bare hands can achieve. RockPods explore the science of tissue gliding, traction and decompression with easy to use myofascial cups.

RockBlades
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) introduces the concept of movement therapy and performance enhancement. The tools may be hard-edged, but the techniques are not aggressive and deliver superior patient outcomes. This course will review screening dysfunctional movement patterns and utilise soft tissue tools to improve patient treatment. The anatomy, physiology and most importantly the neurology of myofascial soft tissue work is covered, along with supporting research.
